Kearney “The Biggest Little Town” 16th Annual Kearney Dog Sled Races February 5th, 6th and 7th 2010
Races include 4 and 6 mile including Pure bred sprints, 4 mile ski joring, kid and mutt race and 40 mile mid distance race. All races run both Saturday and Sunday. New this year is an overnight 120 mile unassisted race 12 dog teams. The public is welcome to view all races during the day on Saturday and Sunday . This includes the over night race starting at 5 pm on Saturday , the teams are bedded down and fed for the mandatory 4 hour layover starting approximately at 10:00pm and finishing starting approximately 7 am Sunday morning.
