Celebration of Research
You’re invited to join in the Celebration! U-Links Centre for Community-Based Research is hosting its annual ~ Celebration of Research ~ The purpose of the event is to display the work of Trent University students involved in this year’s community-based projects. We also invite groups involved in community-based work to contribute a display. These research and service projects inform the community about a broad range of social, cultural, environmental, and economic topics and issues. The event is a wonderful opportunity for organizations, students, and interested citizens to meet, share information, and build on the great ideas that often begin with a bit of research!

1:00-1:15pm – Welcomes & Introductions
1:15–2:00pm – Keynote Speaker – Yolande Chan Director, The Monieson Centre, Queen’s School Of Business Economic Development in Rural Communities
2:00-4:00pm – Network with researchers and community developers, view the poster displays of this year’s student research projects as well as others presented by organizations within our community and enjoy refreshments!
